Safety at Sea runs a fully approved Service Station catering for all marine safety products. Our service department is ISO9001 approved and is regularly audited by independent agencies including Maritime New Zealand. Our service team is among the most experienced in New Zealand, thanks to comprehensive international training.

Liferaft Servicing

Safety at Sea is an approved liferaft servicing station having met an acceptable standard, as required by the International Maritime Organisation (IMO) resolution A.761 (18) for servicing, repairs and repacking the following makes of inflatable liferafts:

Ocean Safety Liferafts
CSM Liferafts
Survival Products Liferafts
SWITLIK Liferafts

To maintain the right to service particular makes of liferaft, servicing stations are required to have been formally appointed by the manufacturer, have certificated personnel who have been properly trained by the manufacturer, carry genuine spare parts and have up-to-date servicing manuals.
